Tamara's Story

Married for 24 years to Taylor Brown, her personal journey has deeply shaped her work. Growing up as an

only child with a single mother, working through absent father wounds, in late high school/early college finding the Lord and growing in a community of people who encouraged and discipled her while also meeting her husband. Although majoring in Communications, Tamara took several psychology courses in college as she was always interested in studying the dynamics of people, relationships and understanding patterns and wrote her senior thesis on 'Marriage and Communication'.  Her and her husband were part of Engage Ministries (a ministries for 20 somethings) and lead community groups within their church for 15+ plus years as well as worked with couples through pre-marriage counseling. Her profession has been a fine artist (Tamara Brown Art) and loves to create beauty but noticed over the years that it works her creative side but painting alone in a studio, she felt there was another side of her that feels called to work more directly with people and combine her passion for helping work through relational growth that addresses abandonment and rejection wounds, attachment insecurities, and the personality patterns we develop along the way.

Tamara believes every client is "made in the image of God" and sees them not as broken, but as "internally divided from their God created self" and in need of awareness and practices. She helps clients explore unconscious patterns through Transforming Us Tools and 7 Key Skills, creating a safe space where they feel seen, known, and understood. She believes this is sacred work and feels genuinely called to guide clients toward greater wholeness with in themselves.
